We are excited to share that we have completed another auto body paint and refinishing project at our automotive refinishing workshop, in Christchurch! This time, we had the pleasure of working on a stunning 1966 Jensen Interceptor Mark 1 - a true classic British sports car.
The Jensen Interceptor arrived at our workshop in an epoxy primer, ready for bodywork, and a bespoke paint job.
Our refinishing team ensured that the whole body was gapped and long-blocked and that all panels were aligned and sighted. They handled the entirety of this project with great professionalism and enthusiasm!

The Jensen underwent an extensive preparation process to ensure precision and close attention to detail. It was primed, long-blocked, re-primed, blocked, base coated, lacquered, wet-sanded, re-lacquered, wet sanded and machine polished in order to achieve the perfect result and finish! Our team used high-quality and premium-grade Octoral paint and refinishing products to guarantee seamless results including the Octoral Highbuild, Octoral Base Coat and an Octoral Clear Lacquer to ensure that there was no cross branding as well as ensuring professional and long-lasting results!
Our team ensured close collaboration throughout the entire process, and due to customer specifications, this 1996 Nissan 'Carribean Blue' colour was chosen due to it's period shade and heavy metallic content. The team paid special attention on straight and crisp swage lines, as specified by the customer, to cohesively highlight the car's character lines!
This project showcases our commitment to classic car restoration and automotive refinishing!
Whether you're restoring a vintage vehicle or simply need car body paint and repair in Christchurch, Dorset, our experienced team is here to help.
